Who’s got the funk?
On Thursday, March 8, you’ll get a chance to find out as Poplife, Super Music Group, and Gotta Dance Dirty bring a two-room, eight-act electronic extravaganza to Grand Central in search of the perfect beat. Think of it as a little Winter Music Conference warm-up party.
Headlining the main room are Amtrac and Brass Knuckles, two Miami artists with some serious funk stashed away.
There’s a solid chance of nu-disco when Brass Knuckles takes the stage. This trio incorporates DJing, live production, and instrumentation into its sets — even bringing a sexy sax man. And no doubt, everyone loves a shirtless saxophone virtuoso.
